Abstract

The possibility of reducing the cross-streamlined smooth-tube bundles flow resistance of heat exchangers by artificial turbulence in the boundary layer on the tubes is discussed. The results of experimental studies show the reduction of hydraulic resistance of beams, depending on the diameter of the turbulizer.
